Hi Jenny, can you recommend a book as a good place to start with navigating perimenopause? I am struggling on HRT and doctors are unable to diversify in terms of their prescribing. I really need to try and get my head around it all myself. Thanks so much x

I’m reading The Hormone Repair Manual by Lara Briden at the moment and it’s excellent - it even has short suggestions of ‘how to talk to your doctor about (various topics)’. Not sure if this an option for you, but you also might find that private doctors (outside of nhs) might be more flexible with prescribing? Especially if they’re specialists in menopause. For lifestyle changes I read The Menopause Reset by Mindy Pelz, the Fast Like a Girl by her too (although I don’t do any hard-core fasting other than 13-15 hours overnight), and The Hormone Fix by Anna Cabeca, and I loved The Happy Hormones podcast with Nicky Williams too - start with episode one & work through them - loads of great info to get you started here ❤️ Good luck! It can be so tough 😣🥺❤️
